Paris calls Europe to help Christians in the Middle East
juillet 28, 2014
On July 26, thousands of people – as well as the Chief Rabbi of Paris, members of the Catholic clergy and several Parisian right and left elected representatives – met on the Square of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame to call the Western countries to help the Christians of the Middle East area. Those communities are the target of persecutions in Iraq, Syria and many other countries. Europe is the cradle of democracy and human rights that’s why Pariseuro’s Chairman, Matteo Ghisalberti took part to this event. The aim of his participation was to emphasize Pariseuro commitment to the founding values of Europe and its willingness to fight against any kind of persecution.
